Samson's Foster the Curl Crème for Defined, Nourished Curls

What it is. Foster the Curl Crème is a curl cream for defined curls that are matte. Low shine, light hold, made by hand in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Who it's for. If you have curls longer than finger length and you want them defined without the early 2000s gel look, I would suggest the Curl Crème.

How to use it. Work it through damp hair, scrunch it, then dry it with a diffuser. It also works as a pre-styler under the Dead Sea Clay or the Clay Pomade when you want more hold on top.

How it feels. There really isn't a feel to it. Definition and hold without the stiffness or the shine, and it rinses out with water.

What makes it different. Jake and Adam are foster parents. "We've cared for so many kids with curly hair," and the products on the shelf didn't serve them, so they made this one. 3% of revenue from Foster the Hair and Foster the Curl Crème goes to foster care charity partners.

Why guys hesitate. Curl products usually mean crispy or greasy. This is neither. Start with less than you think, scrunch, diffuse, and add more if you need it.
