Matte Styling Cream and Volumizing Matte Powder, together. The cream is the base: hair gel without the crunch or the shine, real light and not hard, and it looks like your hair, just better. The powder goes on last, at the roots, once your hair is dry. Two puffs, maybe three, for lift at the roots with no wasted weight. Adam calls the combination great to cocktail.

• Matte Styling Cream (4 oz): texture without the helmet. Very matte, easy to apply, restyles without water.
• Volumizing Matte Powder (1.4 oz): if your hair goes flat by the afternoon, this is the one. Volume at the roots. No white powder.

Order: dry your hair, cream first, then powder last at the roots.
